Well that's an odd set up…rookie contract is starting with Top 5 contract on bench?

I wouldn't be too concerned about Bowers at this point. Teams are running their offense more out of 12 personnel and the Raiders are near the top of the pack in following that trend. Also gives the Raiders a nice insurance policy if Bowers were to either struggle with injuries or were to put up big numbers and look for a payday when he becomes a free agent. As it stands, if the Raiders pick up Bowers 5th year option that would run through the 2028 season, while the Mayer extension runs through the 2029 season.

I had benched him for Evans, who actually had a decent game.
Odunze is now expected to play, however, I only have my Flex open where I'd choose Jaylen Warren, Wan'dale Robinson, or Odunze.
May lean Warren due to how much Odunze is used.

Im not saying Bowers isnt starting or deserves to start, just saying I could take it as maybe the raiders think Bowers knee issue might be a lingering problem. And Mayer is seen as a solid replacement.
