Is it just me or is there a lack of depth around the league this year?

Seems like studs are getting fed and thriving but depth is hard to find. Waiver wire last week and this week has been pretty rough with almost no options out there.

Really odd start to the FF season so far.

QB play has been in decline overall.

It's an interesting thought experiment. Were we in the "golden age" of QBs with Brady, Manning, Brees, Roethlisberger, Rodgers, etc. from 2000 to 2020? Or did these guys have prolific passing because of the defense "catching up". Defenders in the league now have spent their entire football lives covering and defending the spread offense and heavy passing offenses.

I generally think it's more of the former than the latter. Might be a combo of both.

Sure seems like the Saints offense is for real, I'd go Carr

Plenty of WR depth but RB is thin of course. Also, average number of plays per team (WAG) is 45 snaps.
