More concerning than DJ... Cade Stover placed on IR with a broken collar bone.

So... who is going to catch the ball this weekend?

Nico, Metchie, Woods, Hutch, Schultz and Irv Smith... Not good at all.

I guess you promote Andrew Beck and then one of the WRs off practice squad.

Put 9 men on the OL and put Nico put wide and go to work.

Seriously though...Just feed Nico.

Well, just need to add one receiver. We'll obviously use the other spot to reactivate Diggs or sign JJ.

15 targets minimum for Nico on Saturday

Just saw they waived Diontae Johnson. Guy must be a real piece of work. I thought he would help some given our lack of receivers behind Nico.
Safe to say at this point Diontae is the problem.

Landry replied to someone's comment that it was a "pouty"scene

WR Diontae Johnson waived after two games with Texans - ESPN

"Following the Texans' wild-card playoff victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday, Johnson was visibly upset in the locker room. He was fully dressed sitting at his locker staring in frustration because of a lack of playing time and targets. Running back Joe Mixon and linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair tried to comfort and encourage him."

Best free agent signing since Ed Reed.

What do we expect out of Deandre Hopkins this week? In his 10-game stint with KC he's had 41 rec, 437 yd, and 4 TDs

Against the Texans he'll have 2 TDs.

KC is an interesting team. The offense is middle of the pack and the defense is their best unit.

I think the key to winning is beating KC at their own game. Lean on the defense to keep it close and make the big plays in the big spots. Mahomes and the offense aren't all that scary but they always make the big plays when they matter.

Texans don't have to light the world on fire. They don't need CJ to have the game of his life. They just have to make key plays in key moments. I know that sounds cliche but KC doesn't have a lot stats that jump out but they have this uncanny knack to somehow always come up in big spots.

And yes...Texans will have to beat the zebras as well. Honestly that may be a taller task than beating the Chiefs.

The thing about the Chiefs is... They are a different team in the post season and the game is a different game in the post season.

One thing that is interesting, I don't think the Chiefs starters have played since Christmas. Let's hope they're rusty.

Chiefs allow the most yards per game to TE in the league. Shultz needs to have a big day.

The Chiefs have become like the dynasty Spurs - they do just enough in the regular season to win a lot, then scheme and scout and game plan their playoff opponents and exploit matchups the other team doesn't even seem to know existed.

I don't doubt we all have the same rough estimation of what is likely to happen Saturday - a near miss or a game the Texans lose by 3-10 but never had the lead.

But on the bright side, a win Saturday is instantly the biggest win in franchise history.

Texans rank #4 in regular season play with 49 sacks. They sacked Herbert four times. They need to get to Mahomes (it's key to a win.)

What's the over/under on times Mahomes has a career ending injury only to come back in 2 plays later and scramble for a first down?

Rusty means they will get down 24-0 to the Texans and then come back to win by 20

There are few feelings as Texan-like as watching your team settle for a field goal to go up 24-0 and think "Well, we're losing this game."

Or the Chiefs will hold to prevent the sacks, but the refs will see nothing.

Legal espionage. Ravens release him knowing he would go to a contender / playoff team. CJ learns some of the system calls etc the throws a fit and gets cut just to join the ravens again

He can't play for them this postseason.

Probably not a bad move for BAL.

They cut him because he was a lockeroom cancer but reclaimed him knowing he won't be around for the playoffs and now have an entire off-season to try and patch it up and get him ready for next season.

I have zero doubts that Andre could still dress and play maybe 8-10 plays a game.

If the Chiefs put Cortland Finnegan on the field he'd play every down we needed him.
