At times I was frustrated at the Texans…..but man that was overshadowed by how awful the Cowboys are.

This offense is still frustratingly average…the Cowboys D is hot garbage, the Texans should have scored a lot more. Thankfully this D is very good, and when you have Anderson and Lassiter on the field, it is a tough D to score on. Also, Bullock is a major surprise, I knew he was a ball hawk in college, it certainly has transferred to the NFL.

Also, a programming note, we watched the game at On the Kirb on Kirby - which is a great place for a game by the way - and the Texans' whole cheerleader squad rolled up in the third quarter. Appears to be their go-to place for prime time away games.

One thing that was interesting was that during the SVP interview after the game, Mixon said something to the effect of "we have guys coming back soon like Will Anderson and "CHarris"." Organization has been very quiet on Harris, but it sounds like he'll be back soon.
It would be great to add Harris to the defense, but I think he's behind To'o'to'o right now. Depth will be great.

A win is a win in the NFL IMO, but holy **** the Cowboys looked bad.
It's been 20 years since the TExans were total garbage, but the Cowboys looked like an expansion team. My buddy and I were comparing present-day Ceedee Lamb to early-career Andre JOhnson. Racking up 1,500 yards a season with 6 touchdowns to show for it.leftlane4passing said:

Prior to hiring Meco, I was actually concerned the Texans had become the new Browns. It was that bad. What a difference now.
The Cowboys look very similar to how we looked. The only difference Cal just wants to have fun and let his football guys handle everything. And he has made some strong hires.

Oh come on, it was clearly tanking. Culley and Lovie tried to win without the talent but it's what every team except the Steelers need to do periodically.
The Texans can CLINCH the division over the next 2 weeks. Beat Tennessee and Jax, while Indy is losing to the Lions and the Patriots and we will clinch the division with a 9-4 record and a 4 game lead with all tiebreakers.
The games after that vs Miami, KC and Baltimore are about playoff seeding.
