The #Texans are hiring #Rams TEs coach and pass game coordinator Nick Caley as their new OC, as CJ Stroud and the Houston offense get a new play-caller, per me and @TomPelissero.

Caley drew interest from the #Jets and #Patriots. He was selective and lands in Houston. pic.twitter.com/Ol2stMfgDT
Not expected to be a lot of change with offensive staff, even with external hire of Nick Caley as new offensive coordinator, per sources @KPRC2 https://t.co/amCtCkRkQ7

Houston Texans plan to release WR Tank Dell (cap savings of $3 million over next 2 years) after he collects his $50,000 off-season workout bonus. Dell could resign in 2026, if healthy/needed.#Texans are hopeful to resign free agent WR Stefon Diggs and have him ready week 1. pic.twitter.com/rIdMvQmubz

The #Texans have promoted Cole Popovich to offensive line coach and run game coordinator, sources say. He'll work closely with new OC Nick Caley.

Previously, Popovich was the assistant OL coach, but Houston always held him in high regard.

I think we pay it no matter what so it makes sense to just sign him as it would be part of his salary. That's why I have assumed he will be back. Also why I don't see us getting involved for Kupp.
The good news is that there are no key free agents this year, all of them could potentially be replaced by just as talented people. On that list, my highest prioroity would probably beMax Power said:
