as a James Cook owner in one league, I hope the Fournette deal is simply because Lat Murray hasn't been good in the wake of Damien Harris' injury for goal line and relief effort, but I fear if Fournette is in shape, he could really take away a lot of snaps from Cook.

I drafted Charbonnet in both leagues this year- high on him due to his college production, how high they drafted him, and Ken Walker didn't make it through the whole season last year.. but due to the swarm of injuries I've been managing around, I was not able to keep him stashed. I don't think he's worth a lot of faab- his increased role in week 8 was just because Walker was dinged up in week 7, IMO. and week 9 will see Walker return to more snap share. Charbo is still a great stash for those who have room though.

i had been itching to grab Spears and/or Sutton for the last two weeks ahead of the heavy trade rumors for Derek Henry and Jerry Jeudy, but now with them on waivers on the day of the trade deadline and me having low waiver priority, I don't think that's happening for me. If news breaks today re: Jeudy or Sutton, waiver claims for Marvin Mims should skyrocket.

Horrendous waiver day, however that might change as we see what today holds.

My opponent has Trevor Lawrence and no FAAB. With him on bye, I am throwing a $1 claim on Dak (the best QB on our wire) and cutting my kicker.

4 pm et is the trade deadline so we will have an idea of what impact, if any, that will have before waivers clear.

Any advice on D/ST this week?

I currently have PHI and NYJ, but both have pretty poor matchups.

He completed 3 deep TDs to D-Hop. The first was an obvious offensive pass interference.

If a team can stop the running game I doubt Levis is a move the ball on 8-15 yard plays kind of guy. He looked good, but I would want to see how he performs after getting hit a couple times and throwing that first pick.

Josh Dobbs traded to Vikings...worth picking up?

You won't want to drop Fields (he is out injured). You can't expect Dobbs to do too much in his first week but after week 9 i would rather Dobbs over Stroud.

a lot of nice weapons in MIN and possibly with JJ coming back soon... but Dobbs is not as good a passer as Cousins, who had all of those weapons. I don't know if he's going to be better than Stroud for ROS or not.. maybe worth a gamble since you have Fields coming back soon anyway, but not this week- you might still need Stroud this week as Dobbs won't even know the playbook yet.

Dobbs: 130 fantasy points with the Cardinals throwing to: Brown, Ertz, & Moore.
Doubs throwing to with the vikings: JJ, Addison (both better than Brown), Hockenson (better than Ertz), KJ Osborn > Moore. Also the Vikings will likely throw the ball more than the Cardinals.
CJ Stroud: 117 points (which is closer to 132-134 since the bye week).

He has been good up to this point...he is the QB12 on the year in a horrible offense, and now he is entering an offense that is loaded with talented pass catchers.

Not saying he will be better than either or both of those guys, but it feels like that is a possible outcome in fantasy land.

I just think silvertaps needs to wait because Fields isn't back yet for sure this week and Dobbs may not start 5 days after the trade. Might need stroud this week.

Agree with this. My comment was about the future after that if you have the chance.

Also this WAS defense is going to be absolutely terrible. They have traded Sweat & Chase Young (2 of their top Defensive linemen). Mac Jones might actually look good this week.

Donovan Peoples Jones to Detroit. Probably not a good statement about Jamo's long-term value.

Marv Jones Jr is done, and last night Jamison had a drop or two and Josh Reynolds had a fumble. I think they're looking for some stability between ARSB and Kalif Raymond.

Maybe Mattison/Kincaid + Lawrence for Burrow? If you trade Kincaid you can go pick up a spot start TE one of Hill/Logan Thomas/Kmet is likely available.

Lawrence will not win you the playoffs. His highest point total is 18 in one game. Yeah he seems to have a decent floor, but weeks 13-15 are the toughest defenses he will face outside of KC in Cincy, Cleveland & Baltimore.

LaPorta is also on bye, so I kinda need Kincaid this week and then he's trade bait next week, but I do see Njoku, Logan Thomas, and McBride available right now, so worth a try.
