Demercado ruled out for this week. Same with Pierce, but singletary still facing browns. I had chosen Chuba and Demercado.

yaeh, between Zay Flowers and Jakobi Meyers, my flex in both leagues were total duds and alarms for ROS. ...on the bench in both -hoping he could become a good flex - Rashee Rice - two targets after averaging over 5 the previous 6 weeks.

I think the rookie breakouts need to be looked at in one simple category: Do they win their routes? I don't care if they play 50% of snaps or whatever, but do they routinely create space for a QB to throw the ball to them.

Zay Flowers I don't think does. Rashee Rice I'm not so sure he does. Puka he does, breakout. AmonRa, he did, breakout. QJ I don't think does, no breakout. Now Josh Downs & Tank Dell, win routes and have had more consistent success.

Let's look at the class last year:
Guys who win routes: Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave, Drake London, Johan Dotson
Guys who don't win routes: Jameson Williams, Treylon Burks, George Pickens, Skyy Moore

Now the first 3 guys, Jameson Williams, Burks, Pickens all had big games last year. But had 0 consistency. Same this year. Those guys are uber talented but not going to be the product of high targets.

Yes there has been some sophomore slumps in the 2022 class as well. Wilson (terrible QB play). Drake London (run game script and mediocre QB play). Dotson (bad O-line). Olave seems more of a head case but is getting air yards.

Wonder if Cam Akers will try to come back from a second torn achilles

I see Connor and Gibbs as toss ups. Gibbs higher upside but Connor higher expected weekly value.

Davante Adams vs Waddle is a bet on Aiden figuring somethings out versus Waddle getting hurt which seems likely. I think I would do the trade. Adams is the Alpha and I doubt that Jacobs will be able to run that well.
