I vote Gainwell. I think that volume for Puka will lead to him getting a concussion or injured. Next matchup is the 49ers. I think alot of Rams are going to come back down to earth.

Also the Rams ran 20 more plays then they did on average last year.

I doubt Kenny's workload is that high the whole season. They are going to be a full committee in Philly.

Just take the WR if you can. He looked good and had high volume.

Philly paid good $$ for Swift and Penny. Still shocked at the week 1 distribution for Gainwell. and skeptical for ROS.

Gainwell is miles behind Swift and Penny in talent/pedigree

not sure I'd burn high priority on him even if I weren't as stacked at RB, either way gonna bid on Puka given Kupp's return potentially in question and Stafford likely having to throw his arm off this season

I'm going 10% FAAB on kyren for a throw away bench piece, 8% Puka for the same bench spot if that one fails and 5% Puka for my kicker in case nobody paid attention to Kyren. I'm thinking about bumping that 10% up though.

I'm weak at rb and very strong at wr so Puka is more a speculative want maybe future trade piece.

Plan to spend most of it the first half of the season. Having a lot left at the end of the season is useless because most of the breakout players are gone and you're just using it for the rare injury fill in or priority streaming defense.

If you sit on your hands the first 8 weeks with small bids you'll regret it. By about that time we kind of know who the talented injury stash players are anyways and in my league at least they aren't available when X starter gets hurt.

I drafted 12th, so I'll be first on the wire:

Pula Nakua cleared waivers somehow I added Romeo Doubbs and Kendrick Bourne on Waivers which of those two should I drop for Nakua think he has some massive upside lean towards dropping Bourne with Devante Parker eventually coming back but any thoughts

Bourne. NE plays DAL, Jets & Saints weeks 3-5. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets dropped after the Jets/Saints game.

Missed on Puka, Kyren, Zack Moss…landed Roschon Johnson and then added Justice Hill and Zay Hines as free agents. Also grabbed the browns D. Their schedule is phenomenal.

If you miss on everyone, J. Ford (Cle RB) went under the radar. Had 15 touches against the Bengals even with an early redzone fumble. Wasn't spectacular with those touches but he is the clear number 2 back and Cle wants to get some touches to non-Chubb RBs.

Also Ford might be the more pass catching back. CLE was up against Cincy in bad throwing conditions. So I'm not worried about no targets week 1.

On the depth chart on Sleeper, Roschon Johnson is now the RB1 above Herbert and then Foreman in the Chicago backfield. Would be a rough blow for Herbert drafters.

This is stupid analysis from Sleeper. Herbert got early snaps, Johnson only got a ton of run when the game was already over in the 4th.

Sleeper uses Rotoballer for their fantasy depth chart. Link to Depth Chart
Now every other source has Herbert 1, Johnson 2 (which is a move ahead of Foreman for Johnson).

Maybe Roto goes by snap% which would be dumb. If that were the case then Spears would be ahead of Derek Henry.

i understand wanting to chase Puka's points having just used waiver priority on him and thinking he might have an expiration date if Kupp comes back soon, but that matchup vs SF is not appetizing. I think I go deebo and dhop and give puka one more week of sample size. It's only week 2, but if you feel like you need the higher ceiling and puka might get 15 targets again, then roll with him over deebo. deebo's your floor starter- he should get his 5-7 targets, but i think he'll rarely explode with multiple TD anymore with the other weapons they have in SF now. I wonder if Dhop is in jeopardy if Tannehill gets benched for Willis, but for now, it appears that RT only has eyes for Dhop you love those targets in PPR and trust Dhop to repeat 10-13 targets more than Puka to repeat close to 15 again. ...for now...

I was leaning Deebo for sure (hoping to get his rush attempts and yards mixed in with his receptions) but trying to figure out my other WR. Puka cleared waivers in our league so I just picked him up as a free agent. I have Kupp on IR, so I figured I would grab him as insurance if Kupp doesn't come back soon. I might go Hopkins like you said and see one more week of Puka to see how many targets he gets this week. Only thing that worries me is that the Rams may throw the ball a lot playing from behind.

I have him and Trevor Lawrence... need a starter decision for week 2, probably sticking with TL, but also thinking about one of them as trade bait - either one- ... their byes are later (weeks 9 and 11), but could I possibly capitalize now on someone freaking out over some bad QB performances in week 1 and get a third-round RB out of the deal? ..i kindof want to hold for more sample size to see if AR5 is fr and possible league-winner.

I have A. Richardson on my bench behind Tua T. I'm hoping he can be this years version of Justin Fields. Guy in our league picked up Fields last year about 1/2 way through year He was sitting in 9th place at the time. Ended up sneaking into the playoffs and won the league and $$$...mostly because of Fields rushing for about 100 yards every game.

well I talked myself into burning both waivers for Puka, and just as I mentioned in league 2's flurry of adds somehow Hollywood was dropped, and I ended up all the way back up to #3 waiver. Just confirming Hollywood is a no brainer claim here right? granted he was only 10th rd (std), with my wr room still being pretty thin figure he'd be at least useable for byes as a clear 1 when Kyler returns (and Thomas gets hurt)

Pickens was dropped…. Do I drop nico or doubs for him?
