Take a look at some film of Payton Wilson and tell me this isn't a more athletic LVE. Also, plays with some attitude. Would bring an edge.
Packer game sucked, but it sure was funny seeing Texans fans spike the ball after matching their franchise best wildcard round win.E King Trill said:
What's all this chatter about? Isn't y'all's season over?

That guy definitely looks like a beast in the highlight reel.
Our secondary and Dline are more than good enough to be a top defensive unit (even if we lost guys like Gillmore)... but we absolutely cannot go into next year with a black hole at LB again.

Dan Campbell is the best. I know Jerry thought Sean Payton was the one that got away, but Dan Campbell is that guy.

He lost his job as a starting LBer.

He's definitely done a good job there, but he needs to get his emotions in check. He routinely makes rash in game decisions on the basis of being mad at the refs, the situation or his players. He's Roy McAvoy from "Tin Cup".
Apparently our stats with him and without him werent much different against the run. Definitely would have been better to have him in the playoffs thoughAg Natural said:jr15aggie said:

It's got to be obvious to the FO that many of the remaining teams are built around great LBs. The Bucs, Ravens and Niners.
We really missed LVE this year and he's the last one we drafted high (if you don't count Micah as a LB)

Thought Purdy looked pretty bad against the Packers. If that Purdy shows up against Detroit then it could be an interesting game

Frustrating... on paper there is no reason why the Cowboys shouldn't still be playing. But, we are the Cowboys so thus is life!

If Deebo can't play then it really evens the game and Detroit has a shot.

I just dont see how we can be major players in FA given our cap situation. All I can see is doing is what we have done in the past getting pieces here and there causing us to play all year with a guy of Kearse's caliber
