NOTHING changes in Dallas until fans stop paying $800+ for a single ticket (other teams are 20% less than Dallas), stop paying $200+ just to park your car at the stadium, stop spending $200 for a jersey and there are empty seats for home games. I agree with the idea he's more interested in building the brand than winning a championship.
He's good at the brand, but 28 years of losing in playoffs show he's awful at building a team. Here's to several more seasons of playoff futility.
Please fire Quinn and retire Jerry. Spend time with your grandkids.
If all things are equal there is a 2% chance (roughly, but literally) for one team in a 16 team conference to not at least make the conference championship game in 30 years. The odds overwhelmingly say a team piloted by a monkey would at least get that team to the conference championship game at least once in 30 years.
Yet somehow, some way a team with probably the most resources in all of the United States can't manage to get there. Think about that. Think about how poorly a team has to be managed to defy those odds while having all those resources at their disposal.
People always said "things will get better once Jerry is gone and Stephen is in control" but by most accounts he already is pretty much in control and he's worse than has dad and he's probably got another 20+ years in him of running the organization too. Very frustrating.
The even sadder part is, most of us (or at least me) weren't expecting a SB this year. All I wanted was to reach the NFC title game and I would have considered the season a smashing success. And we had the perfect route to get there. And we couldn't even win a damn game.
