Was that Sirianni or his coordinators? I'm gonna guess the latter. One thing I have learned is a teams success, generally, isn't mostly tied to the HC but the OC and DC.

Heads up that tix for tomorrow have dropped significantly if anyone is still thinking about going. My brother and his friends bought at slightly over FV on Tues, and now it's pretty much half of that on StubHub.

If Tampa wasn't also just beat to heck I would agree. It should be a good matchup though. Tampa has been one of the stingiest teams to run against the last 3-4 years.

I got Tampa rolling tomorrow. Philly looks like a team that has given up. They not only suck on the field but that locker room is a mess right now.

The coldest game I remember watching was Bengal Charger playoff game. There are thick layer of ice on ground and windy.

So I watched a shortened 30 minute version of the legendary 92 NFC Championship game last night.

I gotta be honest, my memory of how good Madden and Summerall were did not match up with how I felt about it now. Madden was fine, but man alive, Pat was just so monotone. He just sat there and called the game like he was reading a stat sheet... a 40 yard pass play was announced the same as a 2 yard run.

I guess that was the appeal back then... Pat calls every play with calm consistency and then Madden comes in and spices it up.

IMO, that style doesn't hold up anymore. But back in the day they were simply the best... no doubt they had a big impact in how games are called today. Perhaps that makes them the GOAT, but I was surprised at how boring it felt. I much prefer to watch highlights of that game with Brad Sham's audio.

Mine too... but it was very much like playing an old/favorite video game. Sometimes the fond memories are better than trying to re-live the experience 30 years later.

I'm thinking the dates/times for next weekend's games at Dallas and at SF may be set tonight IF the Cowboys win today, with opponents TBD.

If both the cowboys and lions win today, I think that will lock them into playing each other Saturday night.

With two games now on Monday, the winners of those two games are going to play on Sunday.

If the rams beat the lions, then we would get a Sunday game playing the winner of Tampa - Philly.

Easy path to the NFC championship and if you ask me we're long over due for some good luck in playoff matchups. We always seem to play the team who has our number or is the worst matchup.

No excuses this year. Everything is set up for a run to the NFC Championship game. SHOULD beat the fudgepackers and SHOULD win next week being undefeated at home and on artificial turf.

Biggest key today for me is shutting down Aaron Jones. Last time the packers came to Arlington he torched us. Shut him down and the sacks/ turnovers will come.

I could be wrong, but I think the Saturday games get much lower ratings than Sunday games.

My guess would be:

Saturday afternoon: Baltimore/Houston
Saturday night: SF/TB/Phi
Sunday afternoon: Dallas/Detroit
Sunday night: KC/Buffalo (winner of the Buffalo game this week almost certainly gets a Sunday game due to having to play on Monday)

Jeez. We have to stop Aaron Jones today.
