We are definitely in a unique position as Cowboy/Aggies... I never thought I'd ever see blatant holding like I did against Garrett in college, but I was wrong.

Seriously, WTF is wrong with these officials? Just because Myles & Micah are unblockable they let the oline get away with murder. They didn't allow DBs to hold Randy Moss in his prime, so why the hell are they allowing this to happen?

The NFL should be celebrating 2 guys that are chasing the sack record together... instead, neither will get close because the opposing teams are just going to cheat them because it's not being called!

They don't really try hard to cover it up. It's not a Cowboys/Parsons/Garrett thing, it's a "if we call holding on this player like we do everyone else the game becomes unwatchable" thing. Former NFL refs are pretty open about the league enforcing rules differently with respect to holding.

Apparently the same happens with Bosa, Watt, Parsons, Garrett and all the big time pass rushers. I get it. No one watches the NFL to see QBs get hammered 10 times per game. Not to mention the investment in QBs, and the drop off in play from the backups. They just need to change the rule for everyone if they aren't going to call it. Nothing more frustrating than seeing Parsons get hugged and tackled with no call and then have our offense stopped by a questionable holding call where the RT's pinky finger accidentally catches the sleeve of the DE.

I get that but when the holds are so obvious and egregious it really spoils the game for a lot of fans, not just cowboys and browns fans.

They are already losing viewers due to the no holding calls on blatant holds. Fans are seriously going to lose interest if the NFL doesn't start calling games somewhat fairly

The thing is, fans without a vested interest prefer officials to NOT throw flags. This is consistently born out in surveys. Unless you are rooting strongly for one team or another, fans want the refs to ignore even fairly egregious calls.

Fans hate penalties regardless of how obvious they are, generally speaking

I get the fact that the league wants offense, but if my team has a super star pass rusher and you aren't going to call blatant holds, then I don't want to see another Fugging holding call against my offense. But that's not what's happening.

They are handicapping our best player and then calling us for BS holds on the other end.... and I'm absolutely sick of it. We might as well not even pay Micah, because the special rules they have for him destroys his greatness.

How's everyone feeling about tonight?I just put money on the boys to cover the 6 1/2. Think it'll be relatively high scoring but the boys pull away late. Dak should have a huge night.

I always pay the victors tax on Aggies/Cowboys games. But tossing that to side, objectively I don't expect Dallas to cover a TD spread. Detroit's run game should theoretically perform well and limit how many possessions we get. Now their defense is bottom third in the league, so in a world where that doesn't happen and especially if Goff reverts to what he's usually does under pressure I can see it. But Detroit has a means of limiting what we like to do at home (get up big in hurry and then let it snowball).

I feel like the public is overreacting to the last 2 games and forgetting how good this team is at home. Miami was a great rushing team and we limited them 91 yds rushing. I could be wrong but I don't see the Detroit defense slowing the pass attack down and it's gonna force them to throw the ball more. This Detroit team has recently struggled with the Vikings, Bears 2x, packers and Saints.

Great to see Jimmy get in the Ring of Honor. But DAMN if we didn't leave a few Super Bowl wins on the table because of Jerry's arrogance.

Where were y'all when you heard the news and/or saw the broadcast of Jimmy's firing? I was having a beer at Dudleys with my girlfriend at the time, and we both were speechless. I couldn't believe it.

Yes that play was on Dak 100%. He had a guy breaking wide open in the middle of the field and missed him. He's either got to hit him or eat it. Can not throw it away there.

I'm not sure who is calling the deep passes when running off 30 seconds is AWESOME play. Time to reevaluate.

Of course, a touchdown wins the game. But so did a first down. And burning off 30 seconds probably wins the game too.
