The most important game, other than ours of course, is Packers/Bears. The Packers are the only team that can pass LA for the 6 seed and they have to win to do it. If they lose to Chicago we can't play LA in any scenario. Now we can't play LA in any scenario if the Rams beat SF either but that game is a crapshoot because neither team is trying and are benching all their stars.

If GB loses, or if LA wins, we can only play GB, NO, Minnesota or Seattle. I think there's a weird scenario where we could play TB if they tie the Panthers but that requires a bunch of other stuff too so not worth worrying about.

The dream scenario is:

1 SF
2 Dallas
3 Detroit
4 TB or NO
5 Philly
6 LA
7 GB, Minnesota or NO

Then we get a relatively easy WC game, the NFC South winner beats Philly and LA beats Detroit then knocks off SF. In that scenario your oath to the SB is:

GB, Minnesota or NO
NFC South winner
LA

All at home, and if we can't make the NFC championship game by beating Green Bay and NO/TB I quit.

Me personally, I don't want Seattle. Gonna be a fun afternoon... my only frustration is that most of the games we care about are all playing at 3. Today's gonna be a good day to have NFL GameDay playing on my phone while I watch Dallas on the TV.

The way the NFC has shaken out, I would tend to agree, but we HAVE to improve running the football. We need to be able to pick up 4 yards again on the ground. We do that and we can beat anyone, if not we can lose to anyone.

Pretty much the best possible outcome. A much more favorable match up compare to LA.

Regular season was oddly up and down for going 12-5. Path to the NFC championship game is pretty dang doable.

Of course I've said this IDK how many times the past 20 years.
