As predicted, the Lions shine has officially worn off. We may be catching a desperate Lions squad at the end of the year.

They are not good outside in the weather (hello Goff), and their defense is not good.

What, scoring 6 points over the past 7 Quarters doesn't impress you?!?

You gotta think Kellen and his HC are possibly unemployed the day after the regular season ends.

We need to keep drafting Wisconsin players. They all seem to work out for us.

My immediate post game thoughts:

1. Ferguson is a grown man!
2. Dak played another great game.
3. The defense obviously played very well and kept them out of the endzone. After last week I was hoping for more punts, but the end result was great.
4. Brandon Aubrey........ no words.

This game was the litmus test, and the cowboys passed. Damn I wish we could have that Arizona game back

Always good to dominate the eagles. Great game and 5-0 through the stretch we all said they had to have.

The Cowboys are playing damn good football right now. Please, for the love of God, get it done in the playoffs this year. It's been way too long.

The bigger failure was not converting from inside the 5 @ Phiily. That's what might end up deciding our fate.

That would have been an exceptional road win though. The Cardinals game was a layup we blew.

But enough about how the season plays out... man this has been a fun team to watch this year. I'm just gonna keep sitting here and enjoying the heck out of it.

They both suck. Win either one and the division and 1 seed are highly attainable. They took care of business how they should have in this stretch. 3-1 in the next 4 would be sick.

Fantastic game.

Stephon Gilmore had a game. The team in general came out to show they were more physical than the Eagles.

Dak… just dropping dimes and making great decisions.

The eagles just finished a hell of a gauntlet the last few weeks and finished it 0-2. They have a few weeks to try to regain some form.

That Dallas defense forcing turnovers was key. The first drive, they played well but Hurts was just perfect. There wasn't much we could do to stop it. Just bend but don't break and it worked. We forced a turnover late in the drive. The whole night was beautiful. We didn't give up any big plays, contained everyone, and made physical plays on the ball.

Great game! And great points about it. I'll add that the coverage strategy of putting Gilmore on the bigger, physical receiver and Bland on the #2 WR is really paying off.

Damn, I wish Diggs was still healthy though.

Heard a stat that this was the Cowboys 8th victory of the season by 20 or more points!

The Eagles have exactly ZERO wins of 20 or more points!

It may mean nothing with regards to playoff seeding and/or playoff success, but it certainly speaks to what we've said all year long... the Eagles have been one of the luckiest teams I've ever seen. Ref help at times, fortunate ball bounces and the other team flat out crapping the bed have helped create their inflated record.

Also worth noting, we forced 3 fumbles in both matchups... amazing how different a game can turn out when the ball doesn't bounce right back to the Eagles every time!!!

The difference between this team and the last 25 years is defense.
The Cowboys finally have a defense they can build around.

The defense has made up for the Cowboys average running game, and somewhat average receiving this season (outside of Lamb and Ferguson)

Tyron Smith (when healthy) is still a top 3 Left tackle in the NFL and Tyler Smith is a burgeoning superstar.
Tyron being 32 years old means you could still get 3-4 years out of him. Trent Williams is still elite at 35 years old.

2 tough road games coming up. On the frozen tundra and then on the sunny beaches. Only to come home and face the fighting Dan Campbells.

The winds always seem bonkers in Buffalo, so if Aubrey is gonna miss one......

With that said, I don't think Buffalo's defense can stop these receivers

Josh Allen throws a lot of pics, so I fully expect Bland to have another pic 6!

The biggest thing for the Cowboys against the Bills is going to be limiting Josh Allen's explosive or clutch plays off script. You can't let him get a first down with his legs when it's 3rd and 12, and you can't let him pull something out of his ass. He's literally the only reason they are above .500. Limit him or keep him one dimensional and they should be okay.

I would add that the Cowboys need to stay out of their own way, as well. Dallas leads the league in penalties and penalty yardage, and the last two games in particular were quite egregious. Need to find a way to even slightly improve in this area or it will almost certainly be the difference in one of these tough games down the stretch.

The Eagles had just as many egregious holds that just weren't called. Most teams cluster together in terms of holding calls per game. It's a stat that's consistent across the league because it can be called every play and refs generally across seasons spread them out equally. But for four years now Dallas has been one of only two extreme outliers when it comes to holding calls against. And that's despite having an OL in he top third of the league essentially that entire time. I really don't understand it but the data is overwhelming across years now. Dallas had more holding calls in three quarters last night than Philly had the entire season PLUS last year's postseason.

Did the Eagles play 3 games in 12 days in the last few weeks?

I don't know what they are going to do at DT, because it's clear they don't want Mazi Smith out there that much.
