The white jersey with red numbers and accents look better than white w/ blue considering the front horn on the logo is red, it makes for a more symmetrical look. The white w/ red would also look better with the traditional blue pants blue helmet look as well.

Pierce is an enigma to me. Great rookie season and seemed to run hard last year. He just couldn't generate any positive yardage. Not sure what caused his regression.

Per him he really couldn't figure out the scheme.

What does Dallas have that the Texans would want for DP? I know pick 24 is probably not on the table. Do they have any defensive players we could use? I would probably hang on to DP unless they offer at least a 3rd round pick for him.

I'm taking a gander at their roster. While they have a good set of starters their next level is lacking to say the least.

Their current RB group is: Rico Dowdle, Deuce Vaughn, Malik Davis, Snoop Conner

Pierce probably fits what they're doing in Dallas right now better than Houston. But given his rookie year Houston should be hesitant to trade him, he still has potential. He's currently 2nd on Houston's depth chart at RB. If a trade was hypothetically in play it would have to be for a pick, I'm not seeing a guy on their roster they'd readily part with that Houston would take in trade for Pierce. Dallas's depth chart is pretty shocking now that I look at it, they really rely on their first team guys.

He's not starting and he has shown good potential. It's ripe for a trade for a 2 / 3 round pick.

You can put it together with another and trade up for a stud out of reach now if you want.

Houston currently has $20MM in cap space for 2024 and the draft is yet to take place. If he wanted to go to Houston then he and his agent probably needed to make overtures some time ago. Right now the current group of CB's on the roster is Stingley, Ford, Henderson, Ross, Okudah, King, Boyd, and Pride. I don't know enough about the roster and flexibility in terms of moving guys but feels for the time being Houston is most likely done until the draft.

I could be missing something but I think I read the other day that if Janet was to pass the ownership moves to a trust shared by Cal and Cary. I believe there are concerns that if the team is 50/50 Cal and Cary that Cary wants to sell and Cal does not. By moving principal ownership to Cal they are able to prevent a significant battle from taking place. I think with Bob's passing Cal was supposed to ultimately take over the Texans and Cary take over the family's business. When Cary tried to have Janice declared incompetent the rumor was he wanted to push the team getting sold. Not completely dissimilar when Tom Bensons' kids tried to have him declared incompetent so he couldn't pass the Saints & Pelicans to their stepmother. They failed in that bid as well.
