I'm relieved they didn't use the old English H-Town design they've been peddling out the last year.
Apparently everything is still on table.... and I agree it is awful

The red helmet are the thing that could become the symbol of a franchise, that strikes fear in other teams' fans when they see it coming. Disappointed if it's not part of the new look.IrishAg said:Agree, I wish we would make the red helmets the primary. They look so goodMr.Bond said:
Hope so I was under the impression that Columbia blue would be a primary color moving forward. I just don't see it anywhere in this uniform. I didn't realize it was just going to be an alternate color I don't know any organization that does that. Wish we'd ditch navy helmet for red

I don't mind the red helmet but I don't like the candy apple red color. It doesn't match the uniform colors

It was in response to someone leaking a pic of a non-player in the uniform earlier in the day.
And those who have seen the rest of the designs are saying there is a lot more cool stuff coming.
ETA - here was the original leak that people were slamming. This Texans "leak" is making the rounds on Reddit. You never know, but consider me in the "not buying it" camp. Stingley's number but not Stingley. And I'm expecting all of the redesigns this year to be in the standard Vapor FUSE template. pic.twitter.com/24iMtgMYHv

According to Texans TV Host Drew Dougherty, the franchise plans to display their new uniforms the week of the 2024 NFL Draft in April. Their new jerseys will commemorate H-Town Blue in each of the four uniforms, paying homage to the Houston Oilers.

So based on this article from SI back in February I don't think these uniforms are legit. The template might be the same but unless there's outright lies being published there's nothing in the "leaked" photos that indicates anything commemorative of the Oilers. Consider me a skeptic about these, but if the official release happens at the draft as indicated we've still got about 5 weeks to go before we actually see the real uniforms.
I heard today that they did a photo shoot in the old Houston Post building. That's why you see the crappy wall in the background.Ag_07 said:lunchbox said:

WTF is this?
Looks like a HS player who got the last of the jerseys so his doesn't fit right and someone took a cell phone pick of him inside the local fieldhouse showers.
Interesting, that's the same build as Autry. I'm starting to wonder if they're going to go the true NT route with the big boys they got and then have more of a quick DT next to them with Anderson and Hunter on the outside. Then against heavy run teams double up on the big boys, move the quick DT to end and rotate Anderson and Hunter on the otherside?Mr.Bond said:
