I doubt Evans will be available. In light of them expanding the salary cap by 10 million or so, I doubt a lot of guys are going to be available who we thought might be earlier.
I think RB might be the only position on offense they drop a little cash on. Barkley or Jacobs for 2 or 3 years at 10-ish a year makes sense. Outside of Evans, none of the WR really improve you much.
Again, a lot of the early wishlist will get tagged (Madubuike, Wilkins, Allen, Burns, etc.). Greenard might be the best DE who doesn't get tagged, and if so, he is worth re-signing as long as he isn't looking for the break-the-bank money (which someone might just give him). I want Christian Wilkins, but I think dumping Xavien Howard was a play to keep him. Chris Jones doesn't seem like a Caserio signing.
Realistically, I think this could be a weird/disappointing offseason in that we have money to spend but there aren't many players available who are worth spending big money on. I bet you have a lot of Caserio-like signing of solid veterans on one-or-two year deals as usual. Maybe they splurge on a Patrick Queen or Xavien Howard. Maybe.
