Is this why the NFL doesn't want the XFL to exist? Gotta protect the work

The unfortunate thing is that it was a good game and probably going to go chiefs anyway... but that call at the end was total phantom bulll**** and now all I think is : "chiefs didn't earn it and what would have happened otherwise".
Why are multiple people now saying the chiefs probably win anyway? I mean the eagles punted twice all game. They couldn't be stopped. More likely the eagles tie than the chiefs stop them, imo.

I take great enjoyment that that **** town has lost 3 sports championships this year in baseball, soccer and now football

I don't think the Eagles are built for a 2 minute drill in that high pressure situation.
But we will never know.

Totally different situation. I would have liked to see it, but my guess is the chiefs win.
Exactly this. Before that call, there were no defensive holding calls, no defensive PI calls, one offensive PI call. They were letting them play most of the game and then decided to call a pretty tick-tack foul in a crucial moment. If it was a clear foul that affected the play, sure. But man, that's a rough call to seal the game.CFTXAG10 said:
If you watch NFL games all season you know that there are calls made all game on both sides. I actually noticed they were letting them play and commented on the lack of calls. Then they decided to make a HUGE call in crunch time. You can't let em play all game then do that ****. Felt cheap

Still not sure how that was a clear foul. That kind of contact happens on almost every play.
Tonight had 3 reviews and I think they got all 3 wrong

they took a TD away from KC earlier…where were you then? If it was rigged that would have been a touchdown.

What is a catch? The NFL clearly doesn't know.
Is it controlling the ball? The first catch was overturned because the guy didn't control it, even though he caught it.
Then a guy catches it, gets it knocked out from a hit which is clearly a fumble, but all of a sudden you need to catch it and run for 5 yards to be a catch.
Then a guy only gets one foot down in bounds after gaining control but now it's a catch.
Maybe the NFL sees these inconsistencies as something that drive discussion and interest. For me, it drives me away from the nfl.BowSowy said:Exactly this. Philly guy catches a pass, turns and gets blasted….fumbles…TD Chiefs.Rodney Ruxin said:Quote:

Which call are you referring to here?
It makes me wonder, if he had caught the ball turns, gets blasted and is pile drived 3 yards backwards, does that count as a catch? Because by their rules, he didn't make a football move there eitherGoAgs92 said:Philly guy catches a pass, turns and gets blasted….fumbles…TD Chiefs.Rodney Ruxin said:Quote:

Was overturned due to the player not completing a football move. I agree with their call but if the game was rigged that would have been a KC touchdown.

Great game.
Philly will be a beast next year.
Everyone is going to say it's NFL rigged, but I think they just have terrible refs.Sparkie said:Maybe the NFL sees these inconsistencies as something that drive discussion and interest. A Super Bowl letdown + potentially losing both their coordinators = Not so sure about that
