Is this why the NFL doesn't want the XFL to exist? Gotta protect the work

Wilson only had 3 carries in that Super Bowl

which the Seahawks D/ST essentially won with a pick 6 and KO return

Hahahaha.

Hurts drops the ball then kicks it directly to the Chiefs for a TD.

And you hayseeds are blaming the refs, they took a TD away from KC earlier…where were you then? If it was rigged that would have been a touchdown.

Eagles should have been called for delay of game about five times, they only got it once.

That holding was pretty ticky tack but the Eagles defense blew the game on that punt return.

The unfortunate thing is that it was a good game and probably going to go chiefs anyway... but that call at the end was total phantom bulll**** and now all I think is : "chiefs didn't earn it and what would have happened otherwise".

Why are multiple people now saying the chiefs probably win anyway? I mean the eagles punted twice all game. They couldn't be stopped. More likely the eagles tie than the chiefs stop them, imo.

I don't think the Eagles are built for a 2 minute drill in that high pressure situation.

But we will never know.

Heavy betting on the Eagles made them a one and a half point favorite. A crooked official gave the game to Kansas City and made all the bookies rich.F the NFL.....looking forward to college football and the Aggies next season. Pro football is all about gambling and can't be trusted.

Andy Reid was (one of) Steve Young's coaches at BYU.

Also on LaVell Edwards staff at BYU with Reid: Mike Holmgren and Norm Chow.

Eagles DC screwed that up too
You gotta at least pretend to try to tackle him so he tries to score instinctively

Totally different situation. I would have liked to see it, but my guess is the chiefs win.

If you watch NFL games all season you know that there are calls made all game on both sides. I actually noticed they were letting them play and commented on the lack of calls. Then they decided to make a HUGE call in crunch time. You can't let em play all game then do that ****. Felt cheap
Exactly this. Before that call, there were no defensive holding calls, no defensive PI calls, one offensive PI call. They were letting them play most of the game and then decided to call a pretty tick-tack foul in a crucial moment. If it was a clear foul that affected the play, sure. But man, that's a rough call to seal the game.

Still not sure how that was a clear foul. That kind of contact happens on almost every play.

Tonight had 3 reviews and I think they got all 3 wrong

And I'm pretty confident in saying all 3 reviews were correct….honestly not even sure how you argue two of them.

What is a catch? The NFL clearly doesn't know.

Is it controlling the ball? The first catch was overturned because the guy didn't control it, even though he caught it.

Then a guy catches it, gets it knocked out from a hit which is clearly a fumble, but all of a sudden you need to catch it and run for 5 yards to be a catch.

Then a guy only gets one foot down in bounds after gaining control but now it's a catch.

Agreed, especially when you consider the timing/placement of the throw relative to the already pretty minor amount of contact. Just doesn't seem right.

I must've missed one of the catches you're talking about. Probably when I was putting my son to bed.

I thought you were talking about the review and overturn of the touchdown on the first Philly drive for the third review.

The Goedert catch was a catch. He bobbled it, when he regained control of it he still had his first foot on the ground, the second foot hit before going out of bounds. That's not really arguable, imo. Absolutely not enough to overturn.

I thought the no catch was the right call vs the fumble. If you watch it real time it 100% doesn't seem to be a catch. I do think that one was a little more borderline, though.

Maybe the NFL sees these inconsistencies as something that drive discussion and interest. For me, it drives me away from the nfl.

Philly guy catches a pass, turns and gets blasted….fumbles…TD Chiefs.

Was overturned due to the player not completing a football move. I agree with their call but if the game was rigged that would have been a KC touchdown.

The real loser of the game was the grounds crew, players slipping and sliding all over the place.

It makes me wonder, if he had caught the ball turns, gets blasted and is pile drived 3 yards backwards, does that count as a catch? Because by their rules, he didn't make a football move there either

Everyone is going to say it's NFL rigged, but I think they just have terrible refs.

Maybe there is an overarching initiative from the NFL to drive discussion and interest, or promote certain players. Or maybe it's just a case of a ref put in a high pressure situation who ****s it up. I think it's the latter.

Wasn't the holding call from when JuJu changed direction and Bradberry grabbed his jersey? The clips going around are a bad angle of the actual foul, and people seem be looking at the contact after the foul.
