Oh my god. Thank you for this complete time warp to what feels like forever ago. This was a crappy "Battleship" movie based off of the board game that, yep, as I now recall, involved aliens. Pretty sure I saw this with my dad as a matinee when I was home from college one summer. The perfect munch popcorn movie.
