Looks like a catch to me. Definitely seemed his foot was still down when he regained possession. It's not hard to freeze frame to see. Not sure why we can't get that on the broadcast.

Exactly. Freeze frame made it clear it was a catch. Left toe was still down after he re-grabbed it
