Ive got a number of tough calls this week. My entrenched starters are elite for a 12 team league (T Hill, AJ Brown, CMC, and Kittle) so I probably need high floor guys here more so than high ceiling guys, but its the semifinals of the playoffs so you need both really.

I gotta go Watson. Jones has only scored 15 points 5 times out of 13 games. Two other times he has scored ~14. Thats a 50/50 call there. I'll add this, the Rams have only given up 15 points to 5 running backs and 2 of them are named Christian McCaffrey. Another is Josh Jacobs who is a top 3 RB this year. On the other hand I count 12 WR's who have scored 15+ on the Rams and Watson has put up over 15 in every game he has played meaningful snaps in. Now, I think Watson is due for a come back to earth game, the touchdown rate is just not sustainable, but I think I lean towards playing him in this situation.

Tough call man! Always hate going against the grain in the playoffs, but I think you have to strongly consider it here.

My thoughts exactly. I also worry about Jones having being dinged up lately. I bet he'll run for 60, catch 3 for 35, and be right on the line of whether he can get 14-15 points without needing a touchdown. I'm leaning Watson.

My apologies for leading you astray, but I still think it was the right call given the information we had. Rams hadn't been giving up points to RB's all season and all of a sudden give up 3 touchdowns. Packers running backs hadn't been scoring touchdowns all season whereas Watson had 7 in the last 4 games or whatever it was. Tough luck...

You might try cycling through all the available Thursday QB's first so that they aren't available at all to him. Then if you get to a day later in the week where he still hasn't picked up a QB you can cycle through the Saturday QB's on Thursday and he shouldn't be able to get them unless yall have a 1 day waiver process (then wait until Friday). And then same thing for the Sunday QB's if he still doesn't have a QB by Friday.

definitely Conner over Swift --- he's been really good and consistent the last 5 weeks

Fournette has the safer floor --- 70 to 80 yards each week but rarely scores.

Latavius has the higher ceiling --- could go for 100 & TD again. Packers ran the ball vs. the Rams last night

How much emphasis do y'all put on weather?

Unless actively snowing hard, very little. It doesn't seem to make much a difference overall.

unless it was the thunderous winds of the A&M spring game where passing the ball was impossible

supposed to be 10-12 degrees at Chiefs/Seahawks game on Saturday but clear.

I'm okay with starting Folk and Tucker in cold weather

but unsure about Carlson at Pittsburgh Saturday night with a projected high temp of 13 degrees.

especially when Sanders in Miami and McLaughlin indoors are available on waivers
