You say 'destroying the franchise' like they have the legacy of the ******* Seahawks or Pats or Steelers or something. This franchise has always been mediocre down to its' logo and branding.

Have one of the most exciting players in football in Deshaun Watson yet continue to be a big snooze fest to watch. It has never been and will continue to be an incredibly middle of the road franchise.

The Texans are going to be 3-5 at the midway point. And likely somewhere between 7 and 9 wins to finish the year.

In the AFC South you can spin that as contention. The Texans have never been a Superbowl contender in their franchise history. But "contending" for the division title or getting close to the playoffs has always been the goal.

I don't believe BoB can be fired when he has such a track record of "success" compared to expectations.

Yes, as people said they mortgaged the future for tunsil. A guy who really isn't that good at what he does, and Watson holds on to the ball entirely too long with good or bad protection.

The rest of the gms probably love seeing bobs number calling as they know they are about to win a trade.

I sincerely hope (but would be surprised, sadly) that the McNairs start the process of vetting for GM candidates. It has long been clear that O'Brien will not take this team to the heights we want to achieve. Surely they have come to this conclusion and will wisely start looking for candidates so that they will be in a position to get exactly who they want and will have made a thorough and complete search. And then let the GM help with the coach hire. Must get this right in order to give Watson the chance to be great and lead this team to greatness. Come on McNairs, do it right!

Yeah. I'd further state that, if Cal isn't capable of making the tough leadership decisions, something needs to change regarding franchise ownership. It's inexcusable that any organization would mortgage everything towards a head coach like they've done with BOB.

Dude. I came to post yesterday and then I just got bummed out. Literally went back to the Travel Board instead because I didn't have the energy to say the same **** we've all been saying for YEARS now. Losing a locker room is one thing, but when you lose the backseat QB message boards? Time to wrap it up.

As crazy as it sounds they need to sit Cooks until that quad is 100%. He doesn't look like the same threat this year because of it and keeps grinding through. I appreciate him trying, but at some point, rest is more important. Lord knows we have more than enough receivers to cover for him.

To be fair, I doubt Cal has the fortitude to fight back if a hostile takeover were attempted.

The only way the McNairs are out is if their plane crashes or they are all wiped out due to COVID. The Texans are very personal to them and I can't see any way they get rid of the organization unless they are forced to/force majeure. We are stuck for a long while.
