BoB has effectively killed my passion for this franchise. I used to be excited to watch Texans games. Now, I really don't care all that much.
Cal has enabled this, and continues to sit on his hands.
It's so sad because the Texans have some really good players. They are just being wasted, and BoB the GM had screwed them for the next 5 years.
Watson is an electric player. He is just as exciting as Jackson or Mahomes. The problem is coaching. BoB doesn't let Deshaun be Deshaun. Other coaches build offenses around the skills if their players. Harbaugh completely overhauled his offense to tailor it to Jackson. BoB acts like the smartest guy in the room. He's taking square pegs and forcing them into round holes because his offense is king.
Great coaches adjust and evolve. Bill does not. He is still running the same **** he ran when he first got here. And for him being a so-called QB guru, his offense has rarely gotten results. The only time I can think of it being explosive is when Watson took over and just had to make plays in a continuous two minute offense.
At least with Kubiak, I felt like we always had a chance when we got behind. Under BoB, the Texans are boring, and with their players, they shouldn't be.
Maybe one day my passion for this team will come back, but it won't be likely until Cal decides to #FireOBrien.
