Seattle has 2 picks coming up and has historically liked to take Ags. Also need to protect their new investment. Could see McCoy being picked with one of them.

yah, he's not that great a tackler. I mean, not worth giving up that. Maybe give up a 4th and trade a 2nd.

I wonder if there will be a good safety for the cowboys in round 2.

I want to see heath as a backup going forward.

There are still a few left... but they may not last long. I agree that replacing Heath is a top priority. We also need a backup for Zeke, but we can get that in 3rd or 4th round.

I'm not opposed to trading up for a safety if we can get a guy we project as a starter.

How many left you think? What teams do you think we have to worry about?

I guess I should try and look up who visited us, but I'm too lazy.

The Dolphins got Rosen out of the deal. I don't keep up with the Cardinals. Is he a decent QB?

I wanted Tannehill to work out but it wasn't so. He had flashes of brilliance but was too inconsistent.

nobody knows. Cards just put up fat heads for olineman last year. Rosen kinda got screwed. Can't judge from year one. I hope he kills it at phins and gives pretty boy the finger.

i think steve keim might last half the season. he's gonna get a bucket of spit now for last year's #10 pick and slider will probably be hurt before the season starts. great job.

According to a league source, the Cardinals and general manager Steve Keim began shopping Rosen in earnest minutes before the draft began at 8:00 p.m., and were seeking a first-round choice in return that no team was willing to give up. Rosen only found out about the team's intention to draft Murray, the 2018 Heisman Trophy winner, moments before the pick. He found out from his agent only after Murray was seen in the green room taking a phone call while the Cardinals were on the clock. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury called Rosen minutes later.

I would love to see the Packers pick up Sternberger. I think he's a great fit for them at a position of severe need.

It would be something to witness if the Cardinals don't get a trade they like for Rosen and he ends up backing up Murray to start week 1. Seems like that would be more drama than they would want, but if they don't like the trade offers they're getting, they could plausibly wait until a team with a mid-season injury comes calling.

I don't think the Cardinals GM is a secret genius but he may have derped his way into a good strategy. QB is (obviously) by far the most important position in this game. Far too often we see teams anoint their first round QB as the "franchise" and keep a mediocre/average player for far too long.

The Cardinals will never get back the value that they paid for Rosen. However, I would imagine there is good statistical/analytical case to be made for quickly pivoting to another prospect and viewing Rosen as sunk cost. I'm not suggested that the Arizona GM is competent and did this internationally. But as Kenny Rogers once said, "You've got to know when to hold 'em. Know when to fold 'em."
Bunk Moreland

QB only becomes the most important player on the team when the entire roster is built for success.

If a roster is garbage it doesn't matter if it's Drew Brees or Ryan Tannehill. Brees may get 1 or 2 more wins but he's not going any further career wise on a bad team.

I think you see that every year...when teams with the best QB's win their SB's, it's usually because that year they had a fantastic defense & a strong balance on offense, with a line that protected the QB.

Kliff was awful at roster management/depth building at Tech. He's not got a handful of guys in the room a lot smarter than him that are supposed to help that situation out, but they need major help in a hurry up front.
