And as a Texans fan, that sucks for the Raiders. 20 years from now, nobody will remember that they were the only team to ever start a playoff game with a 3rd stringer. With Carr in there, that game is totally different.

Just take Brady out next week and you can watch your Dallas Cowboys win it all from your front porch

Texans could have/would have beaten the Raiders with or without Carr. Home team has the advantage in this matchup.

Well, the Texans were playing without the reigning Defensive POTY, a bunch of no name offensive linemen and a QB that should a 3rd stringer somewhere.

I think they did OK.

Brock was the Texans starting QB all year. That contributed to the "worst team in playoffs" conversation.

In a sample size of one this year, the Raiders are 1-0 in games against the Texans in which both Carr and Brock played. Can't use the whole "Texans would've won even if Carr was playing" argument, logically.

Are Cowboy fans the most insecure fans in the history of the NFL?

People won't remember that because it's not true.

Texans started a playoff game with a 3rd stringer in 2011 & won

But the Raiders are the only team ever to have played a playoff game with a QB who had never started a game before.

and...? That would probably change the thread title to "Raiders the worst playoff team in NFL history?"

If the Houston Texans played in the the NFC East they would be a 5-8 win team most years. They benefit from playing in a very weak division.

How do you know that? Texans beat one less playoff team than the cowboys. Nobody has any idea how they would finish in another division
