And as a Texans fan, that sucks for the Raiders. 20 years from now, nobody will remember that they were the only team to ever start a playoff game with a 3rd stringer. With Carr in there, that game is totally different.

Well, the Texans were playing without the reigning Defensive POTY, a bunch of no name offensive linemen and a QB that should a 3rd stringer somewhere.
I think they did OK.

Texans could have/would have beaten the Raiders with or without Carr. Home team has the advantage in this matchup.

People won't remember that because it's not true.
Texans started a playoff game with a 3rd stringer in 2011 & won
and...? That would probably change the thread title to "Raiders the worst playoff team in NFL history?"titanmaster_race said:BMX Bandit said:Aust Ag said:

But the Raiders are the only team ever to have played a playoff game with a QB who had never started a game before.

If the Houston Texans played in the the NFC East they would be a 5-8 win team most years. They benefit from playing in a very weak division.
