Let's put it in context. JJ had just bought the Cowboys and was being interviewed by Sam Donaldson of ABC. Jerry was sitting in the middle of Texas Stadium during the interview. What was said was something very close to this:

Sam: "Jerry, talk about your first round pick of Troy Aikman. Some have suggested that your draft picks look good in the shower, but don't end up performing on the field. Is Aikman like this?"

Jerry: "Sam, I can assure you he looks good in the shower, but can also play..."

He did NOT come right out and say that, Sam lead him that way, though he did put his foot in his mouth for the first of thousands of times.

It's good to hear Jerry has a two-way mirror in the Boys' shower facilities.
