For those interested, I made the trade because the Bills are switching to 3-4 this year and have no viable options at Nose Tackle. After Dan Williams, no player can fit the bill there more than Terrance Cody. While there are concerns about his weight and his attitude, I believe he would draw strong interest from Miami, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Kansas City*, and San Diego*. KC and SD already have picks before Buffalo.

and i made the deal for the Vikes cause AD was left all alone in the Vike backfield with Chester's departure, and theres no way he's holding up a whole season without another guy behind him getting 10-12 carries per game which i think Lynch is perfect for. the trade still leaves the Vikes in good enough position to take a good player this year + they get an additional 5th rounder to boot.

Excellent explanation. So why didn't you pick the best player available with the first round pick. I mean I know this all for fun and doesn't amount to a hill of beans, but it seems many of us took a little bit of time to do a bare minimum of research to look and see what some teams need.

I mean you would think that a team that gave up the 2nd most sacks and had the 32nd rated D in 09' would seek to address those needs, and not use their top 2 picks on a position they already have a #1 guy at.
