Jaguars looking for a trading partner. There's still a couple of good tackles on the board, a couple of highly rated defensive backs.

Looking for picks in the latter half of the 1st round and in the middle of the 2nd. Willing to negotiate if you have a decent defender to offer.

Steelers offer Safety Tyrone Carter and the 18th pick for Jacksonville's 1st round pick.

Don't know how good of a defender you're looking for, but he provided very solid defense in Troy's absence last year, and it's only an 8 spot difference.

Very tempting, but he's 34, and having a 2nd rounder would be pretty nice.

yeah I know...I had some other guys in mind...but not for only moving up 8 spots.

Yeah, the Steelers have a very talented starting defense, but I'm not sure I see anyone who's playing behind an All-Pro and is ready to go somewhere to push for a starting job.

Unfortunately, I have to call it a night. I won't be back on til the morning. If someone wants to make a "take it or leave it" offer overnight, I'll check it out first thing and pick from there.

It was a tough choice between McClain and Haden. The Jaguars need an upgrade at linebacker a little more than cornerback, but Haden's a good talent that should help in a division that has Peyton Manning and Matt Schaub.

I really have no confidence in the front office after last years, in my opinion, horrendous draft. But, I feel like they just can't miss with this pick. I wouldn't be disappointed with Bryant, they have a major hole at WR, despite the hole at QB. They need help all over the defense, especially at LB and DL. I think McClain is a very solid selection. The secondary is old so Earl Thomas would fit. Joe Haden would be good too. I really like Derrick Morgan, but not sure if he fits the 3-4 defense, plus they just signed all those DL even though I don't think they really upgraded there. A DT would be really nice, but the top two will be gone and it might be a reach to take Dan Williams at 11.

lax, what you're basically saying is that, at the 11th pick, Denver has a good pool of talented players that they can pick from, any of whom would help the Broncos out.

And a whole lot of people are really worried that McDaniels and Company won't pick any of them.

I get the most worried that they start wheeling and dealing for more picks or to trade up. Their trade last year to get Anthony Quinn was terrible. If they hadn't traded their first rounder this year to get freaking Alphonso Smith, they could be looking at McClain and Haden in the first round this year.

Oakland is looking to trade it's 2nd + a player to move into the 13-20 range. Anybody interested?

I assume you won't give up Asoumagha(sp?), so I won't even entertain it.

Make an offer and I'll see if it helps our team enough. There's still going to be a lot of talent at 18, so I'm not sure if I'm gonna trade out of it or not, but I'll always listen.

If the 49ers needed a corner, they shouldn't have drafted a safety.

Haha, I know Earl Thomas can play corner, but I think he projects much better at safety.

that's what I was trying to do, move up to take Haden.

i'll have to think about if I can work something out.

Right now, I'm kind of inclined to play it up to pick 17, then check my options 1 pick away.
