Long story short I was just laid off in RIF that cut almost 20% of the total headcount (close to 1000 people total). Severance is strong and I have options but I'm finding a ton of positions in land acquisition that dovetail with my experience but in the renewable energy space.

Just looking for info on some of these companies and how that space might compare/contrast with land acquisition & development in the telecom/wireless industry. Basically, I spent the last 11 years doing land acquisition & development for cell towers an rooftop wireless installations for Crown Castle.

I know of at least one with EDF on here, and there's several of us I know with other renewable developers on Texags. EDF is one of the big ones (not a fly by night company). Lots of work going on with development so good place to get in

I believe there's a person or 2 on here that work there. I was interested in working there and watched the postings for a while.

What I found was for any type of position someone with degrees and project management, construction and / or facilities experience would be looking for it required years of reenable experience. I even reached out on LinkedIn to a couple of people and asked their suggestion as to how one was supposed to get renewables experience if all the positions required it. No one ever responded.

Maybe the land side is different.
