As I find myself one of the latest victims to the Coronavirus lay-off/furloughed rampage I felt it appropriate for my fellow Ags and myself to start a thread of this nature.

I am looking for temporary work to get me through the next few months in order to make ends meet. I am a nutrition major class of '19. Furloughed from 24 hourfitness where I was a level 3 personal trainer for the last 8 months. Physical ability is no issue and I have a vehicle so transportation is not an issue. I have experience in construction and fabrication. I live now on the west side of Fort Worth. I'm looking for any good leads for myself and any other ag that may stumble upon this thread.

Amazon has a number of spots open around Dallas right now.

I'm a HS coach that will thankfully still be getting paid the normal amount, but with much less work to do. I've also been on the lookout for part-time stuff during the break. Looking to buy a house in the next few months so it would be great to be able to boost that down payment amount. Yes, lolpoor not paying for the whole house up front with cash

I have seen HEB posting they are hiring temp workers. I think a lot of your big box stores are (Sams, Costco, etc). Amazon too.

Go to one of the big staffing agencies in Dallas: Aerotek, Kelly Services, Manpower, etc and they are likely hiring for a ton of temp jobs right now.

Also if you go to any of the large food & beverage companies, they are hiring like crazy right now: Nestle, Coke, Pepsi, Niagara Water, General Mills, Tyson Foods.

A coworker of mine received the following text:

Amazon is hiring on the spot. Pay:$17/hr. Drug test done on site. Two forms of ID. Will be hiring until all positions are filled.

I can't find it - someone got a text with an address that they were hiring on the spot. I tried googling and only found regular open jobs. If I see it again I'll come back and post here.

No mention of on the spot but there are jobs with 7 day turnaround. No resume or previous work experience required!
