Student Technician II
TEEX Public Safety and Security (PS&S) is seeking an individual with strong web design skills using the following:
• Knowledge of current technologies & various
design software,
• Skills in technical writing,
• Ability to analyze information, recommend and
plan layout for the Public Safety & Security
division website (http://www.teex.org
/publicsafety),
• Maintenance of PS&S division website, keeping
activities posted with current information.
Individual must be a team player with a positive attitude, self-motivated, ability to work independently, and a desire to learn new concepts and technology. Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of staff. Must be an organized and punctual person with the ability to follow documented processes with high attention to detail.
Considerable knowledge of HTML code and web page design. Position will require individual to enter information into an administrative interface. Experience in graphic editing software is a plus. Position requires ability to work at least 20 hours per week. The position is located at Riverside campus approximately 5 miles from TAMU campus.
