Daughter getting ready to apply to A&M in July - to enroll fall 2021 - and wondering where to even start looking for scholarships other than generic google searches. Any suggestions?

At the end of her application, it will ask if she wants to apply for scholarships at TAMU. You MUST select yes. No going back.

Scholarships.tamu.edu - there is a list if additional scholarships that have been vetted by the university as actual scholarships. Apply yo those, or use the search engine suggested by tamu.

Thx! Is it a simple yes - and then apply on your own or do you have to be ready to submit scholarship application right then with your A&M application?

Yes, and then some additional questions to finish the scholarship application, both submitted at same time.

Will she be applying through ApplyTexas? If so, after saying yes to scholarships, she can submit admissions and return to scholarship application later (just dont forget)

If applying through Coalition, admissions and scholarship must be submitted at the same time.

My advice would be to submit them together, so you dont forget. The scholarship application uses quite a bit of data that is already on the admissions application, and then asks additional questions for university scholarships, as well as college, department, and major specific scholarships.

If you have questions, you can email scholarships@tamu.edu. they are really good at responding and providing assistance
