Hit up friends if they have taken the classes you have and maybe exchange with them. Also finding PDF's online for about 50% of texbooks is possible however illegal.

If you are taking or plan to take Biology 111, the textbook is free! Too late for my student, but I think this is a great thing that they orchestrated with the library. There are more science classes scheduled for the switch IIRC.

1. Buy the previous edition of the textbook used for $10
2. Buy a friend lunch in exchange for letting you photocopy the problems at the end of each chapter from the current textbook that he paid $200 for since the problems are the only thing that change.
3. Sell the package next year for more than you paid.

Chegg is great!

Also join and check out fb groups. I've bought and sold a lot of books through there.

Chegg is not great! Most of my students end up with the wrong book or a book missing the last half of the chapters.
