I recently got Academically Suspended from Mays Business School and Texas A&M.
I was a University Studies Business major in Mays.
I somewhat struggled through school at Mays in part because of the difficulty of the courses but also due to a lack of effort. I also suffer from fatigue and some memory issues due to having Multiple Sclerosis.
That set aside, A&M and disability services were always willing to assist me so my condition is no excuse.
I was in my final 16 hours this past spring, my GPA going into the semester was slightly above a 2.0 and my grades did not end up being good. Its almost as if I thought I did not have to try my last semester and I would get handed a degree.
I was academically suspended from the university and my first appeal was denied.
I already regret my mistake. I have spent 4 years at A&M and the Aggie spirit is in my blood now, I cant even begin to imagine graduating from somewhere else, especially as close as I am.
I know I am dealing with the consequences of my own actions, and getting the suspension has already changed my mindset. Im willing to do whatever it takes to finish up my last hours at A&M.
My academic advisor has been vague about my options.
Can anyone provide some guidance/advice?
I thank you in advance for any help!
