How long do you want to ignore this user?
Howdy guys,
I have a question about getting my aggie ring. I transferred into A&M from out state and I guess A&M changed their policy on the minimum number of hours taken here. It is going to result in me graduating a semester early and with only 44 hours at A&M. Does this mean I will be a former student and not be eligible for my class ring?

Once you graduate, you're eligible.

He's right, you qualify when you graduate. The ring office verifies your degree and that's when you can order. Congrats.

Resident Hours

Attended after December 31, 1993: 45 earned undergraduate resident hours at Texas A&M University.
Attended prior to January 1, 1994: 30 earned undergraduate resident hours at Texas A&M University. You must have successfully completed a Fall/Spring semester or Summer term (I and II or 10 weeks) as a full-time student prior to 1994 to qualify with 30 TAMU resident hours. A full-time student is defined in the University catalog as one that completes 12 credit hours with a 2.0 GPR in a spring or fall semester; or 4 credit hours with a 2.0 GPR in both summer session I & II for a total of 8 hours; or 8 credit hours and a 2.0 GPR in a 10 week session.
The last 30 credit hours must be from Texas A&M University.

If you're at 44, why not take a 1 hour class? Even a p/f Kines would put you over the edge.

FA...doesnt matter. If he was taking an extra 1 hour course, he still wouldn't be eligible until the end of the semester. Since he's graduating at that time it doesn't matter; he would get it at the same time.

My wife was in the same situation she got her ring the day she graduated. If you graduate in December there is an exception for you to get your ring the day of graduation
