Which is easier? I need to take one of them. Prof recs also appreciated

Which part of History do you like more?

105 = 1400 AD to 1845 AD
106 = 1865 AD to Present Day

Both equally insanely easy. Made a 94 on a report on a 300 page paul revere book and didn't read a SINGLE page of that book.

106 with Anderson if he's still there.

106 at A&M was easy and interesting. Don't recall the profs name.

took both at A&M - made A's in both. just read a book here and there like you would for any other class

I liked 106 way more. It's the most recent history, starting with the Civil War I think and going all the way to George W. Most recent and most interesting in my opinion

Both really easy. But both suck a**. really incredibly boring and you won't learn anything new. history classes don't get good until you at least get past the 100's

go to the library, pick out a history textbook, anyone it doesn't matter, and find a comfy place to sit. skim (and I mean seriously skim--read captions for pics, section titles, and graphs/tables) for a few hours. take the CLEP test. win.

that's what I did for hist 105 when I needed to get some extra hours to get my Aggie ring early. it is THAT easy.

Back in the day, instead of 105 and 106 I took classes that interested me. One was Civil War and Reconstruction and the other was History of Science and Technology. Why take a boring class for and easy A when you can take an interesting one for either an A or a B?
