It would blow their mind to know that the autosteer for my equipment, individual row shut offs for my planter, yield monitors for my combines, and section controls for the sprayers have no need for a data center…..it works off a gps globe and a satellite and the internal computer in the monitor for yield monitoring and mapping…
The models running on the "internal computer" were trained in a data center. I didn't say you need internet connectivity; inference at the edge is a real thing!
Except didn't we establish that method creates 95% incorrect guesses?
Although, I really would like to rework my thesis research with a current FNN and stronger signals.
No we didn't say that at all.
There are models that are extremely accurate, especially for relatively simple tasks like image classification. Inference can be on the edge or in the cloud…
This, of course, is a completely different task than analyzing a set of source code and trying to find potential security vulnerabilities.
You are clearly an intelligent person but you are not discussing this topic in good faith. It can be an imperfect technology and extremely useful and even evolutionary nonetheless.
