I have to ask this question. Where would Europe generally be had we not carried the water for them wrt defense for the past 80 yrs +. Maybe a better place had they relied on themselves instead of us. Maybe would have rallied around one another and not gotten lazy and dependent . Then again maybe would have already been Soviet comrades long ago.

We may have been better off with a 4th Reich so to speak to counteract the Soviets.
