1) It absolutely does depending on how it's implemented. If it's a government wallet that bypasses banks, then that is one more step towards the government simply being able to shut you off from society, if you have wrongthink. It's a dystopian nightmare and you know Europe wants to do that.

2) I don't understand the lizard people comment in relation to original post. All of the intelligence agencies mentioned have played in this space toppling or helping to topple government's.

Not just that. If there is a digital wallet the govt. has control of and the economy is slow. What is to stop the govt. from telliing you that if you don't spend 20% of the money in your acct. in the next 4 weeks you will lose it?? Or if inflation is too high they could discourage spending. During the next quarter for every dollar ou spend you will have a dollar deducted from your acct. to combat inflation fotr the national good. Say the main driver of inflation is gas prices. They could deduct 3 dollars from your acct. for every dollar you spend on gas. Not to mention using it control the population and to stifle anybody who doesn't follow the govt. line. Anybody who thinks they wouldn't do this is insane .

China has already done stuff like this with theirs and I've seen European officials in the past flat out state they want the same capability. I would be surprised if the EU doesn't make a stronger push for it soon simply so they can keep their populace under control because right now that whole experiment is fraying at the edges.

Anyone blowing off digital CBDC as a non-event is frankly delusional in their ignorance of the slippery slope it is. Digital CBDC and degradation of 2A in this country are the two final fire walls against full-on tyranny here.

Appeal to all people from abroad: when the lights go out in Poland, tell the world about this!!!

Tonight, the introduction of martial law is planned an extraordinary event in Poland. This state grants enormous powers to the government, including censorship of the internet and platforms like X.

Jacek Karnowski, a Polish journalist, just said live on television: according to his sources, at midnight tonight, a state of emergency or martial law is to be introduced. The goal is to pacify the protests and "freeze" society.

One of the reasons for introducing the state is an imagined threat from Kaliningrad as a pretext, although experts say there is no real threat.

If I don't post anything on X tomorrow, it means Poland has plunged back into darkness like in the 1980s.

Anna Korwin-Piotrowska says that the eight people present must "collectively decide whether we constitute a quorum or not." Ms. Korwin-Piotrowska, quorum is determined by the provisions of the law. Article 8(1) of the Act on the Organization and Procedure of Proceedings before the TK requires, as a rule, the presence of 2/3 of the total number of judges. The Constitution sets the composition of the TK at 15 persons. In my opinion, this means a requirement for the presence of ten. Do you want to count from twelve? Please point to the provision that allows reducing the basis for calculating the quorum by excluding judges from duties. The unanimous conviction of the participants does not replace the legal basis.

A discussion can establish a common position. It won't conjure up the two missing judges.

Is this how the defense of the Constitution is supposed to look? First we count those present, then we adjust the law to the result?
