Everybody getting this on the same day is crazy work.

Keep this bull**** out of my mailbox. Imagine the outrage if these heathens got a Pray the Gay Away pamphlet in the mail.

This is from Republicans. Can't run on plans to help Texans, just dirty ass tricks.

I'm sure you said the same thing back in 2016 when every newspaper in the country had huge full page ads called "Catholics for Abortion"...it would have never been figured out who was behind it without the wikileaks of Jon Podesta, Hillary's campaign manager, who got caught starting up something called a "Catholic Spring" because they wanted to change public perception and get voters to believe the Catholics were changing their views on something that they weren't.

This kind of stuff has been going on for decades. Psyops work.

I can be mad at both scenarios. I don't like it when they do it. I don't like it when people on our team do it.

Imagine having principles that don't change based on whether the person engaging in it has an (R) or a (D) by their name. Insanity.

"But my principles! " as you are lined up against the wall to be shot. Vote R and save your "morals" for your personal life

I'm not changing my vote over this. I do believe it was a massive miscalculation. The idea was to spur Republican turnout. But, I think it could ultimately push Dem turnout higher.

Nurses are banned from giving kids much more than thoughts and prayers these days, advil and Tylenol treated like Schedule 1 Controlled Substances, but sure parents they're totally giving your child Estradiol injections behind your back.

You're ostriching if you refuse to admit that it happens. It happens all across the country. We have laws in Texas to prevent it, but that doesn't mean that a teacher/nurse/admin won't try it anyways.

Washington, Maine, Oregon, among others have safe haven and/or sub-18 age of medical consent laws meant to circumvent parental authority.

I think it ultimately depends on if they are able to find the source, and if the source can be directly linked to Paxton's campaign, within the next week. This has the potential to be a major misplay, but right now there isn't enough information.

I think they were counting on it enraging republican voters. I'm not sure they calculated for the campaign itself going viral on social media.

Assuming Paxton is behind it (big assumption), you think Democrats are going to vote in greater numbers because Paxton truthfully, verbatim, revealed the agenda of this Texas trans group? Like, to get back at Paxton for telling the truth? Because they're mad the truth came out?

I don't--the Dems aren't the ones who are gonna get out to vote on this issue, as they already are there. The GOP lazy voters, though, they just got another reason to be reminded to vote. And guess what? the strong majority of voters think trans people are mentally ill and absolutely hate that doctors and hospitals are making money off of these people.

Whoever sent it, for whatever the reason, it will definitely spur GOP turnout. Addressing the mailers to "the children of xxxxx" gets parents' attention--grandparents too.

Old Big Mac on this forum thinks that 2024 was the only election that people cared about trans, that now it doesn't matter. We are about to find out if (s)he is right.

You seem to like using the word "Gaslighting" a lot. I'm not sure you know what that means.

I'm also not sure you know what "social transitioning" means either, since you are apparently including estradiol injections under its umbrella.

There doesn't seem to be much point in trying to convince you of anything your shepherds haven't led you to believe, so feel free to have the last word on this.

There was a law passed to stop the medical transition of children independent of the school counseling. And the social transition clearly precedes the medial transition.

And gaslighting is:

Quote:

the "gaslighter", who persistently puts forth a false narrative in order to manipulate

No one is confused by your narrative.

Straight to the garbage with this thing.

It came from Republicans. They sent them out without much selection it seems. Shocker.

More in our face lies and corruption from the GOP. Yeah yeah, here's your low hanging "but Dems!!!" quotable post for the day, lazy.

I'm betting you won't call out Dems for their well documented lies over the decades. But you'll cry when the Republicans employ similar tactics.

You'll have to point me to the Democrats statewide mailing campaign meant to literally lie and trick people to grab a hate vote.

All we know for sure right now is the organization on the flyers doesn't exist (but has the same pictures and messages from a similarly named organization that does exist), and the return address is for a UPS store that has no affiliation with the similarly named organization. Everything else is theory at this point. (Except for the growing number of personal accounts that paint the picture that the recipients were overwhelmingly or exclusively those who have previously voted in a Republican primary, and having children no matter what age doesn't appear to be a factor).

Given the scale it would be surprising if we don't have more information in the next 48 hours.

Yup, and a lot of social media comments are similar to those found here, on this social media site, stating this was a con by the GOP to outrage their base and increase turnout.

How is it a con? The truth is being told, regardless of who is telling it.

You honestly believe the flyer was specifically targeted at trans kids dealing with a crisis and needing assistance? Yeah, I'm not buying that you think this is the case.

The grooming left is always shoving their degeneracy in everyone's face.

This mailing came to my house yesterday. What's funny is that it was addressed to the students of the Cinco Ranch Aggie Family. My youngest graduated high school two years ago and is now working, not in any school. Guess they missed that when they did their data dive for who to send this to.

That is the topic here.

Still waiting for your source to prove this accusation.

Keep gaslighting.

The mailers were sent by the Texas Trangender Student Union.

The Texas Transgender Student Union does not exist.

The materials are copied and pasted from a similarly named organization that does exist (Transgender Education Network of Texas).

The return address of the Texas Transgender Student Union does not match the return address of the Transgender Education Network of Texas.

For the last time, not having the reading comprehension/critical thinking abilities to understand what someone is typing to you does not mean you are being "gaslit". This is for real the last message I'm bothering typing to you as you are genuinely mentally exhausting.

Anybody who actually thinks that some real trans org sent these out coinciding with the first day of early voting, please find some critical thinking skills.

Also a student resource guide to help with the upcoming school year… two months into the school year.

It would be hilarious if some of them didn't have ag tags, suggesting they are allegedly college educated. It's genuinely depressing.

Regardless of who sent it out, that's what we're up against - a group of people that want to pervert our children and mutilate their bodies. They just wish this wasn't mailed out at election time.

I get all sorts of unsolicited mail, texts and e-mail. Straight to the circular file.

I recall receiving the mentioned flyer. Straight to the recycle bin it went along with all the other junk.

I was going to take scissors to the flyer. Decided against. I have principles.
