I don't mean to sound all despondent here, but there is no "waking up" as though people are oblivious to what is going on.

The collective "lefties" support politicians who despise, even outright hate, our history, culture, traditions, and our political economy.

They seek to dismantle and/or "fundamentally transform" our system of government, rule of law, police authority, capitalism, our national traditions (what day is October 12? That's right Indigenous Peoples Day), Western religious and secular institutions (e.g., burning down schools or taking them over), and our geopolitical power.
