What if you love America but want gas to be less then 2 dollars a gallon? Attacking Iran for Israel has made us a weaker nation. They have all been abandoned every country in the gulf not just the Saudis they arent the only country that allows us to operate in the area in exchange for protection. We are suppose to be the calming force that keeps the oil flowing not the one that closes the strait and makes people pay a toll to cross.

Trump even the score and killed Soleimani that's all the policy we needed they knew not to mess with us. Now if anyone else was the commander in chief I would get it but Iran knew Trump wasn't playing around. All those gains for nothing only to be erased and give Iran the upper hand. Even if you did support the war Im sure you don't think this is the way to conduct. We never had a shot of overthrowing the regime. Israel knew that yet here we are in a war that only benefits them. Fellow Americans cant pay bills or afford gas so if you support Americans struggling just so Israelis can sleep comfortable at night I guess that could make you a agent.

Christian Nationalism? Seriously? If you don't like Hegseth/Trump that's fine but recruiting is way up and that's an important part of the job and "Send me" isn't about "Christian Nationalism". People aren't joining the military to be soldiers for Christ.

His invoking the book of Isaiah isn't, on its face, a call to Christian nationalism, it's employing symbolism that is well known in western society to generate a sentiment well understood. I have no doubt that Hegseth subscribes to a Christian Nationalist ideology, but don't see his speech at Kyle as a call to the cadets to share in that specific ideology, rather a well recognized call to do what is hard in the name of what is right.

That verse is well known, and isn't a coded reference to Christian Nationalism, anymore than its use in Hollywood, such as in the following clip from Fury, is a call to Christian Nationalism.

Hegseth got behind this war because DJT wanted it and it was a way to create a path towards an eventual White House run or at bare minimum be on the short list for VP
Obviously if things don't improve Secretary of Defense will be as high as he gets. Which is quite a job to have in the top or your rsum

Anyone know what Jake and Logan Paul's speeches to the military are about? I didn't see any transcripts or reporting beyond them speaking/addressing troops and leadership.

Never mind, there were press releases and articles last night that I missed.

They were brought in to motivate and inspire military leaders and the troops according to Yahoo.

That raises many more/other questions, but the articles answered the first question re what they shared.
