I don't like 3.4% but your assessment is suspect given the data.

Promoting fear porn about the economy is a pure marxist psyop.

Yeah, I'm engaged in a Marxist psyop.

CPI remains elevated. Mostly because of energy prices related to the Iran conflict. That's a fact. I posted it up to discuss it. This could very well cost us control of the congress.

Sorry but we finally have someone willing to punch Iran in the mouth. I'll take the short term pain to protect this country from a POS country of terrorists who have been at war with us for 50+ years while we just kick the can down the road.

If the R's lose control it's on those candidates and the R's in Congress for being such weaklings.

The real enemy is inside our gates. I.was hoping to hold out a little longer before they take permanent control. The Iran conflict doesn't help. Not sure it was worth it.

It's not on the Rs. Half of this country is completely delusional now. They can't be reasoned with.

Ahh yes, the classic "I don't know what's wrong but it definitely isn't me and anyone who agrees with me. While I don't know fully, it must be the other people who are the only psychos and horrible people and never anything anyone vaguely associated with things on my side could ever be possible of." everyone on 'my side' is pure. The other side is pure evil.

This board is such great entertainment.

Most of us on.the right haven't changed a single political position in 40 years. Did those positions become evil somehow?

People who believe men can get pregnant, 5 year olds can pick their gender, a country should not have borders, and it's ok to suck a baby out of the womb at 39 weeks - just to name a few degenerate things your side believes - are delusional.

Speaking of entertainment, your posts are always comical.

It now looks like Warsh, the man Trump banked on (pun intended) to tank rates, will have to make a decision soon. Had the war been as short as they predicted, I expected to see the rate cuts he wanted.

I have to believe Trump knows what's coming ahead of time becasue he can't throw threats on X like he had with Jerome Powell. If they raise rates, whats he going to say this time? He hand picked Warsh.

The economy has been a stick of dynamite since the money printing of 2008, especially after COVID, and no one could realistically know when this could blow. It was going to be a matter of time, and who ever held it las will be blamed.

And if 3.4% is correct, would the correct move be to cut interest rates by 2% as some are calling for?

Hate to break it to you but that's not how that works.
