I think the actual number is well over 50mm all told if we are being honest.

Biden and his group of idiots had people from all over either walking in, or they were flying them in and we have no idea the true number.

But you can observe the increase in illegals in industries all day long. I haven't seen any type of delivery driver (non Fed Ex/USPS ) of which English is the native language in years.

Say what you will about Trump, but 3 million gone is pretty amazing for 2-1/2 years, particularly with having to fight the courts and local/state officials in blue states every inch of the way. No telling how many lives have been saved, or how much money this will save the taxpayer in the long run. I hope he dials it up even more over the remainder of his term. We have to elect another Republican President in 2028 that will keep their foot on the gas.

The last few years of my career I worked for the Border Prosecution Unit in Texas. I helped local LE and prosecutors on the border. Worked with Homeland Security during this period of time. I retired 2 months and 10 days into Biden's presidency. The coming CF was obvious.

My friends from Homeland Security tell me there were 22+ million illegal aliens who came in during Biden's 4 years. But that is just a guess. Because while BP was changing diapers and driving IAs to DR appointments, practically no one was guarding the border.

And during this time the BP was apprehending IAs who had many criminal convictions on their records and had open arrest warrants for violent crimes, such as murder. And all IAs were treated the same, they were put up in a hotel room that was paid for by our tax $$$, and then the next morning they were free to go anywhere in our country. So no way to contact them.

It truly was an invasion.

All that to say, we will never be able to rid our country of all of them. Not even all of them who have criminal records.

The 12 million figure is Ministry of Truth BS. It's to generate outrage at leftists but not exposing the failures of both parties and the pro-slave class corporations. I'll believe the former BP chief that says we have well over 100 million illegals.

If the Trump admin has showed us anything, it's that we aren't stopping it and any attempt to stop it is blasted by the left. It's too late.

Frankly seems unnecessary. Border crossings went to effectively zero with the wall we already have very quickly after he got back into office.

Maintain what we have, supplement with tech, and continue enforcing the laws we have and we are good.

Walls won't matter when the Democrats get back in office. They will simply neglect all of above and let everyone back in again.

Yeah, the wall doesn't really do anything except funnel them to open areas where the BP lets them in when they say "asylum".

And even if they don't use the fake asylum route, the Dems will simply knock down the wall or punch holes in it, or simply not man the open areas at all. Numerous ways to skin the cat.

Biden was even flying the illegals into the country.

3m have left or been deported. Better than nothing but I agree it's too late. Doesn't change that we should have outrage against the left and call out their anti-American, open borders bull**** even if the numbers are fudged. Most of them are Hispanic, we saw last election cycle they are more willing to vote either way, unlike the black population. So the Dems plan really isn't working

One reason I think Paxton wins by more than what is predicted is because Hispanics will not turn out for a weirdo

3 million in 2 1/2 years is weak if you ask me, especially if 2 million were voluntary

That said I think the number is probably closer to 5 million. 3 million voluntarily and 2 million forced. I do not think all of the ones leaving on their own are collecting the check being offered.

There isn't enough work here, which is why I think more are leaving on their own

There was enormous pressure on the Hispanic communities because of the influx of these illegals. Biden saw that and tried to relieve it by bussing them all over the country, too little too late. That drove them to vote R last time.

That pressure has been completely removed by Trump. Will they go back to their old voting pattern?!

They work but I think at this point we've done what we can do there. Building further walls through Big Bend (as an example) is pointless and unnecessary although I'm not sure where we ever landed on if that was actual wall building.

The point here is that the walls we already have are doing their job since we have the data showing us border crossing are effectively nil. And that's because this version of USCBP has been empowered and enabled to actually do their job as opposed to when Biden ran things. The latter is the lynchpin at this point; not the walls.

Security is a multi-layer process and the Biden Dems removed all the layers after the wall, thus making the wall ineffective as a sole source of security.

I agree 1000% there and hope that is just liberal propaganda and screeching to drum up their base...although I fear it is working.

But he seems to be arguing that the wall is stupid period...as if there should be no physical barrier between the two countries? Maybe I am wrong, but I have seen tons of people make this argument.

Walls work. It is the height of stupidity to believe a physical barrier does not impede progress.

Just because they are not 100% effective, doesn't mean they don't work. It vastly slows down the flow.

To say walls don't work would be the equivalent of saying a dam doesn't hold back the flow of water.

Your contention is that if the border had whatever wall you want to implement, the open border policy of the Biden admin would not have worked?!

They work in other countries because their government makes them work.

Dems won't make them work when they are in control. There will always be places that are not covered. The illegals will go there and the Dems will let them in. The illegals and Mexican government will be allowed to compromise and knock holes in the wall and those holes wont be repaired by the Dems. Etc

I do not disagree with you. Obviously democrats can just open up the borders and render any border barrier virtually moot.

But assuming a nation doesn't have self-sabotaging leadership hellbent on ushering in a dangerous and destructive invasion so they can collapse a country and implement socialism, walls and fences on borders absolutely work.

It was probably less than 12M, but whatever the number was, it was way too many.

1984 USA population: 235M
2024 USA population: 340M

Our country simply has too many people in it now. I'm not anti-immigrant (except for Islamic immigrants because Islam is just flat-out wrong to even be here); all other immigrants are great. But I am against having too many people in the USA.

We should tightly limit immigration (legal and illegal) and gradually let our population naturally shrink back down to 300M. I'll do my part by dying by 2050. Hopefully my Ags will have won at least one more cfb natty by then!
