This is true but it still needs to be said. The left is simply dumb and their entire platform is bad economic policy combined with political theater. They're unserious people and when they give you a chance to show them as such you have to take it. Elizabeth Warren is a clown and she made the mistake of picking a fight with someone willing and able to call her one.

I suspect part of the backstory here is the continuing fight over Warren and the Democrats'
baby the CFPB. Warren was supposed to be the permanent chief of the Agency
unremovable by anyone. The organization was designed to "regulate" the financial industry
and use the proceeds of fines and judgments to fund all kinds of "consumer" related
projects. The filibuster rule in the Senate allowed Republicans to block her nomination.

Since then there has been continuous litigation around the "constitutionality" of
the institution, whether the Executive branch has any say over its operation, and whether
the leader is subject to removal by the President.

Conservatives have characterized the organization as operating as a "slush fund" for Left
leaning causes and officials. The justification for the Board is to point at the illicit behavior
of Big Finance.

Trump learned from term one how lousy his picks were. The cabinet folk, Noem aside, have mostly been very good to outstanding.

If the democrat party (the party that celebrates terrorists and child mutilation) was grounded in facts and not slogans, they would cease to exist immediately. Not on a few years or a couple election cycles, immediately.

Bessent wrote an awesome response and has been fantastic as the Treasure Secretary, but how does one go from leading a soros financial fund and supporting liberal democratic causes & candidates to being a major donor & economic adviser in the Trump administration?

Yes the leftoids themselves and their policies are dumb, but they are purposeful by quite a few of them. Your Lenin quote at the end of your posts says it all. What better way to make more people dependent on big government than sabotaging the economy, amongst other things? Then socialism will swoop in to save the day, followed shortly thereafter by communism!
