Actually, they don't. The EV Escalade looks totally different than the ICE Escalade. The EV version is so much better looking that I'm not sure why they keep the ICE style around.

It's already bad enough. We go on water rationing in April now and it continues until November or so. Too many people here and of course the infrastructure has not kept up with demand.

That practice is not restricted to Austin and is unexpected when infrastructure (specifically roads) are built out before growth. Need the growth to increase the tax base in order to have the funds to build the infrastructure.

Maybe so.

But growing up in Dallas, it was the opposite. I feel like we were always questioning the roadway expansion, but it usually preceded the growth.

Austin resisted infrastructure expansion for decades. You can find the previously proposed plans they rejected. Most of them would have made the current layout, with the expanded population, so much better.

The press box is 7 yards off center! It pissed me off every time I marched on the field.

I grew up in Hutto. The comparison between mid 80's and now is eye opening. My town had 565 people in it.
