The Topolino starts at $14,000. Maximum speed is 19 mph, with an estimated range of 46 miles.

It's not street legal, but it's perfect for golf courses, light residential traffic, or beaches.

It's basically the perfect EV. 8 feet long, two passengers, and doors are optional.

Who would take a 2 seater to the beach instead of a 6 seater golf cart? You can't even put a cooler in that thing.

My golf cart cost less, seats six, and has plenty of room for beach supplies or golf clubs.

Good luck marketing that thing to a broad customer base. It's a novelty item at best.

Girls will eat that up and the price point is pretty much in line with every golf cart in operation in my former locale. No one in my former neighborhood had a normal golf car; they were all the ATV looking ones that run you $15k even used.

Water communities. Vehicles like this are popular there. If you live in one, you will see a variety of custom "golf carts" that woman, especially, get really into.

In my hood there are a few dozen SAH moms that ride golf carts to drop their kids at the Elementary School right outside our subdivision. After drop off they park in a bunch in a little clearing and sip their coffee out of $40 stainless steel mugs and chat away. Maybe they would want one of these toys.

Golf carts are in my former hood, at least. They actually dropped the speed limit on a local city street (outside of any neighborhood) because so many folks travel it in golf carts.

How dare you? This is the solution to the EV adoption curve. It's clearly not for everyone but for the majority of urban dwellers it is sufficient. Most people don't need more car than this.

You know that "taking the side roads" will not happen. These toys will be driving down Texas Ave at 25mph. It happens now with scooters.
