There isn't an "Unfit Clause" to remove a sitting Senator in the US Constitution nor Kentucky Constitution. Removing him would require a 2/3rds expulsion vote by the Senate. I dont believe they need a reason for the vote, but there's no way in hades Thune would call for one.YouBet said:

Iirc his first take on the January 6 not complementary of Trump or the participants and he may have gone as far as saying that Trump's role in the incident was an impeachable offense
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he was one of the few Republicans that January 7 and eighth said this is not OK

They've released video (from three weeks ago) of him on a stretcher being loaded in an ambulance. Which is a nothingburger because we know he was found unconscious and taken to the hospital, so he certainly didn't load himself into the ambulance.
It almost seems like a deliberate attempt as a distraction for a couple days to avoid the real question about his fitness to continue serving.
