Didn't watch and just bringing up the First Lady from 4 admins ago seemed weird.

It is not weird at all if you understand this dudes schtick. He is a button pusher. He is a "shock jock" with elite fighting skills (seemingly to this point in his career). Everytime he does/or says something rediculous his viewership grows. This is, of course, dependant on success in the octagon, which he has done so far.

He will have fans that love him and fans that hate him. He does not care. All will watch. He is a heel. It really is that simple.

It is not my cup o' tea. But if he keeps winning, it will be a succesful approach.

The response is predicatble. And, that is exactly why he did it.

Now that's funny. Using a poll done a week before the event and analyzed by a network staunchly opposed to anything this president does.

My guess is that those 70+% polled that thought it was an awful idea didn't watch the event, and continue to believe what they're told to believe.... Just as you're trying to convince us what to believe right now.

Funny how that works, isn't it?

ETA. So here's a question for you. Do you honestly believe that if the Biden (or Harris) administration has thought of doing this event, that CNN would be saying anything other than "how great it was" and falling all over themselves to promote UFC?

Yeah, a lot of people may have missed it, but it when viral on Twitter the other day. At the weigh-ins, he stumbled in and acted like he was drunk, pretending he was so scared to fight Lewis that he resorted to drinking, he spit up apple sauce all over himself to make it look like he puked.

He's a troll, but kinda funny.

I didn't watch it, but it looks like people were having a good time and I saw a few clips of the anthem and some other things. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's better than naked transvestite running around.

There were tons of other things on television last night, FIFA, NCAA baseball, many other things. Did people get upset because other people were watching them? No.

But you know, Democrats will get pissed about anything. Life goes on and now they can focus on some other thing that they hate about Trump.

Did anyone see the controversy about DC Cormier and Eric Trump?

Cormier's Twitter account posted a screenshot of a DM from Eric Trump asking if any of the fights were rigged, so he could bet on them.

Tweet quickly gets deleted.

Eric Trump said he never spoke to DC.

Trump team says screenshots were AI.

DC later posts, "Are people really this dumb?"

Did DC just get hacked? What on earth was that all about.

There were multiple NCAA All-Americans on that card last night. And as always, I encourage anyone who has commentary or who thinks they can really fight to go sign a waiver and spend an hour in a gym getting humbled. It will do you good and hopefully get you to sign your kids up.
