We don't have to worry about this in Atlanta. Football and basketball suck here. The ferals don't get excited about baseball and we moved the ballpark out of the city where the white folk live.

Hakeem the dream did a pretty good job of frustrating the knicks in 94. I recall one of the games getting pre-empted by OJ in his Ford Bronco chase. Those were desperate times.

I'm not a big pro sports fan - especially NBA. But, I've been sucked in this year mainly because of a fascination with Wemby and I would LOVE to see NY burn with a heartbreaking 7-game series loss.

These Knicks fans demonstrated trashy behavior. Spurs fans treated Knicks fans much better in San Antonio than Knicks fans treated Spurs fans in New York.

Back in '99 I was in NYC for work, and a small group of us went to sports bar to root on the Spurs (vs. the Knicks). SA won that game, and we had no issues with the fans. I wouldn't repeat that experiment today.

Both teams are hard to root for.

Knicks because it's in NYC.

Spurs because of the Marxist anti-American cloud of Poppovich that still permeates that organization. Winnebago's comments and then watching Champagne laugh and juggle a ball during the anthem last night doesn't help that continued perception either.

I find myself slightly rooting for the Knicks over the Spurs, but I mostly don't care.
